Content moderation

Space Managers can moderate both posts and comments in their space. This article covers what's available for each.

Moderating a post

Identify the post you'd like to take action on and click the more options button in the top right of the post. Only Space Managers have access to these actions.

Edit the post 

Administrators can update all elements of the post. After a post has been edited, an “edited” badge with an associated timestamp will appear on the post. 

Delete the post

Selecting “Delete” will remove the post from the space. Please note this action cannot be undone. Note that associated resources will remain in the Resources library.

Hide the post

Hiding a post is useful for posts with questionable content or if an administrator would like to remove it from the space without permanently deleting it. Administrators may add a reason for why a post is being hidden. Hidden posts are not viewable by space members but are viewable by the administrator. 

Pin / unpin the post

Pinning a post moves it to the top of the feed indefinitely.

Moderating a comment

Space Managers can edit any comment in their space, not just their own. This is for correcting a comment that contains an error, a stale link, or information that shouldn't stay published — without deleting the whole thread and losing the conversation around it.

To edit a comment:

1. Hover over the comment.
2. Click the three dots that appear to the right.
3. Select Edit.
4. Make your changes and click Save.

As with posts, an edited badge and timestamp appear on the comment after it's been changed, so the edit is visible to everyone rather than silent.
