Sync Roundtable events with external calendars
Sync a Roundtable Community calendar with your external calendar for seamless access to events and updates.
Members can easily stay up-to-date with event details and deadlines directly in their personal or professional calendar by subscribing to a Roundtable Communityβs event calendar. Once subscribed, when a new event is created or updated in Roundtable, the details will automatically be reflected in membersβ Outlook/Google Calendars. Searchable document images
Search for and summarize text on images within documents.
This capability ensures that information locked in inaccessible formats is now easily discoverable. By extracting and summarizing text from image-based documents β such as flyers, infographics, and scans β this feature breaks down barriers to accessing crucial information encoded in images and diagrams.
AI-powered resource tags and descriptions
Streamline resource organization by automatically generating relevant descriptions and tags suggestions for uploaded materials.
When editing an uploaded resource, description and tag suggestions will appear based on the content of the resource. By helping you easily add this metadata to your resources, this feature ensures that information remains accessible and discoverable even as content libraries grow.

Improvements to the platform that make it more powerful and easier-to-use.
- [π Events] Events on posts show the event description.
- [π Events] Navigating to a deleted event has a more user-friendly message.
- [π§βπ€βπ§ Member mgmt] White spaces are ignored when sending member invites.
- [π¬ Messages] Message input expands & auto-scrolls as you input long messages.
- [π¬ Messages] Selecting members to message uses the standard member picklist.
- [π§ Navigation] Toast pop-up notifications have updated color, copy, and consistency.
- [π§ Navigation] Community information can be edited directly from the About tab within the community.
- [π§ Navigation] "Added by" filters find matches when two words are entered.
- [π§ Navigation] Member badges are no longer displayed in "Author" or "Added by" filters.
- [π§ Navigation] Tags no longer allow leading or trailing white spaces.
- [π§ Navigation] Tags must be between 1 and 256 characters.
- [π§ Navigation] Filters are scrollable when overflowing instead of wrapping to a new line.
- [π§ Navigation] Refreshing the page retains and displays the applied filters.
- [π§ Navigation] Roundtable logo is smaller on small devices to prevent horizontal scrolling.
- [π° Posts] Link previews show the favicon of the associated domain.
- [π Profiles] Member profile social media links include the icon of the associated social media site.
- [π Resources] Videos uploaded before July 2024 now have transcripts visible in the resource viewer.
- [π Resources] Members can now navigate between resources in the resource viewer by using the left and right keyboard arrow keys.
- [π Resources] "Open office" file types can now be uploaded (e.g. .odt, .ods, .odp, etc).
- [π Resources] Resource thumbnail is no longer visible in the edit resource modal.
- [π Resources] Newly uploaded PDF/Office thumbnails are slightly crisper.
- [π Resources] Resource library divider line is no longer visible when there are no featured resources.
- [π Resources] Numerous visual improvements to the resource viewer.
- [π Resources] Image files can now be viewed on mobile widths.
- [π Resources] "Cancel" button is now disabled when creating a new resource.
- [π Resources] Resource titles are now displayed on comment and event attachment thumbnails instead of original filenames.
- [π Resources] Link preview images now only pull from page metadata, not the page body.
- [π Search] PDF text extraction now correctly identifies spaces between words.
- [π Search] Search results "All" page empty state copy is now updated to be more helpful.
- [π Search] "Connected Websites" search results now show the source community if the member is in multiple communities.
Fixes
Issues addressed to improve the product experience.
- [π Events] Empty location fields on events are no longer saved.
- [π§ Navigation] Page no longer crashes when pressing the "Go to feed" button on the About page after accepting an invite to join the community.
- [π° Posts] "Save as draft" button no longer floats after pressing save.
- [π° Posts] Cross-post communities dropdown now immediately reflects the Community Manager role.
- [π° Posts] Re-editing posts with new resources no longer fails to save.
- [π Profiles] Organization creation now properly handles punctuation-only differences between duplicate names.
- [π Profiles] Duplicate creation of "Skills" and "Interests" no longer fails.
- [π Resources] Featured resource tiles are now all the same size.
- [π Resources] Resources table "more options" menu is now center-aligned.
- [π Resources] Saving the edit resource modal no longer also saves the edit post/event.
- [π Resources] In-progress resource uploads are now discarded when discarding a post.
- [π Resources] Previews of password-protected Docx/PDFs are no longer displayed.
- [π Search] Search results page "Author" and "Added by" filters now immediately reflect live membership status of members.
- [π Search] PDF resource search results no longer show errors and other extraneous characters.
