October 2025 Release Notes

Features, enhancements, and fixes released by Civic Roundtable in October 2025.

Highlights

Email notifications for discussions now include direct links to any attachments, and poll questions are displayed right in the email.

We’ve made it easier to stay on top of discussions and files being shared:

Clearer email attachments: Email notifications for posts and comments that have attachments now include direct links to those files. This means messages like “see attached report” are no longer confusing – you’ll now know exactly which files are being referenced and can access them with one click.
Polls in notifications: Polls are now displayed directly in email notifications, so you can see the question and response options before opening the post in Roundtable.

Improvements to the platform that make it more powerful and easier-to-use.

[📅 Events] Event list and calendar can now be filtered for "event type" and "tags".
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Space managers can now see when each member was last invited.
[💬 Messages] Group messaging limit increased from 50 to 60.
[🧭 Navigation] Tagging posts, events, and resources is now simpler and more consistent.
[🤖 Performance] Quick search is now faster on slower devices.
[🤖 Performance] Homepage “Upcoming events” section loads faster
[🤖 Performance] Feed posts now load faster
[🤖 Performance] Events now load faster.
[📰 Posts] Posts and comments now use a new, more intuitive text editor.
[📇 Profiles] Profile avatars display more reliably during authentication outages.
[📇 Profiles] Member profiles now support icons for TikTok, Bluesky, and Reddit.
[📇 Profiles] Profile social links and website inputs are easier to manage.
[🔍 Search] Navigate to AI answers via quick search and search result pages.

Issues addressed to improve the product experience.

[🧭 Navigation] Pressing the "Esc" key no longer causes errors in select inputs.
[📰 Posts] Text can now be large and bold simultaneously.
[📰 Posts] Periods at the end of sentences are no longer included in link detection.
[📰 Posts] Post body is now always required, even if content is deleted after being entered.
[📰 Posts] @mention popover no longer becomes narrow on posts and comments.
[📰 Posts] @mention popover is no longer cut off in comments.
[📚 Resources] Bulk AI labeling of resources now continues in the background, even when switching tabs within a space.
