Documents Support & Troubleshooting
If you're encountering issues with Roundtable Documents, here are some steps that often resolve common problems.
Roundtable Documents are currently in beta, and we’re actively improving it based on your feedback.
❌ Can’t access a document
- To access a doc an existing owner or editor must grant you access. The existing editor or owner can add you directly by name or email, or they can grant access to an entire space that you both share.
📩 Sharing a document
- Document owners can share edit & view access to a document.
- If you are added to a document as a viewer you do not have sharing permissions.

Share within a document using the “Share” Button

Share in the Documents homepage by clicking on the three dots on the right side of the document row
- Document owners can transfer ownership to users that have been given edit/view permissions

🔍 Can’t find a document
- Accessing a document in Roundtable:
- The Documents Tab: You can find documents you have access to in the lefthand side bar.
- Search Bar: You can search by keyword in the search bar to locate a document. The search function will parse by either title or document content.

- Accessing a document you’ve downloaded: Check your “recent downloads” by clicking on the download icon in your address bar.
