Features, enhancements, and fixes released by Civic Roundtable in March 2026.

Highlights

Keep your library organized without losing history. Resources can now be archived as an alternative to deleting — removing them from view while preserving everything they've been part of.

Accessibility & security updates

Civic Roundtable has officially achieved WCAG 2.2 Levels A & AA and Section 508 compliance. We've also completed our annual SOC 2 Type II audit, reinforcing our commitment to meeting strict security and operational compliance standards. Our VPAT and SOC 2 Type II reports are now published on our Trust Center, available by request.

Resource archiving

Deleting a resource can feel very permanent. Archiving now allows you to keep the resource in Roundtable - it will remove it from the resource library and AI Answers but keeps it intact everywhere else: search results, posts, analytics, events, etc. If a member encounters an archived resource, it will be visibly flagged as archived. Only space managers have permission to archive resources. You can also bulk-archive resources directly from the library, just like many other resource actions.

Enhancements

Improvements to the platform that make it more powerful and easier-to-use.

📊 Analytics Analytics CSV export of resources now includes tags and the organization of the uploader.
✨ AI Help Center content is now a connected website on all live spaces, making it available in both Search and AI Answers.
✨ AI AI Answers disclaimer now includes a note about weakness in answering time-based queries — users are prompted to treat any responses involving dates or time periods with extra caution.
✨ AI AI suggestions are visually cleaned up and now properly placed relative to the form inputs they're suggesting on.
📋 CRM CRM emails can now include text and highlight colors.
📋 CRM CRM email recipients now use the same size avatars for spaces and users.
📅 Events Event creators can now add a cover photo, helping to make your events feel more branded and engaging on your space.
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt Bulk deactivating a user from many spaces at once is now faster.
🧭 Navigation Tables that horizontally overflow just a little bit will no longer show scroll arrows.
🔔 Notifications In-app notifications now show the space they came from, if you are in multiple spaces.
🤖 Performance Posts with hundreds of deleted comments now load 97% faster (from ~10 seconds to ~300ms).
📚 Resources Featured resources can now be reordered.
📚 Resources Resource uploader (direct to library) now uses a list display.
📚 Resources Resource preview modal now shows collections as chips, with collection details visible on hover.
📚 Resources Resources uploaded via a comment now have a "Shared via" link that goes directly to that comment.
📚 Resources Resource deletion modal now flags places we'll remove this resource from.
📚 Resources Filters within Collections are now using a new UI and layout treatment, designed to live adjacent to search bars and save vertical space.
🔍 Search Search no longer surfaces connected website results that have no title, no description, and no text content.
⚙️ Space Admin The admin section of a space now uses a leftside vertical navigation.

Fixes

Issues addressed to improve the product experience.

📋 CRM Users with multiple CRMs can now properly switch between CRMs on mobile resolutions.
📋 CRM CRM contacts now correctly reflect bounce and unsubscribe status from email sends.
📋 CRM Searching the CRM for contacts with backslashes characters in their name now works.
📅 Events Editing the same recurring event simultaneously no longer causes an error.
📅 Events Editing a recurring event as "This and following," and then doing that again, no longer creates duplicate events.
📅 Events Editing a timed recurring event and switching it to "all day" for "all events" now works correctly.
📅 Events Navigating to a deleted instance of a recurring event series will now show that the event no longer exists.
💬 Messages DMs created via email reply are now better at removing edge case email signatures.
📰 Posts You can no longer schedule posts or emails in the past.
📰 Posts Certain Microsoft SafeLinks URLs are now allowed throughout the platform (these typically come from copy-pasting out of Outlook into the feed).
📰 Posts YouTube URLs in the feed now show an embedded YouTube player again.
📚 Resources Resources added to collections that originally came from a post, comment, or event will no longer be deleted if the original post, comment, or event is deleted. The resource will remain in the library and the collection.
📚 Resources Resource popover no longer shows the contents of a recently-deleted resource.
🔍 Search Searching for organizations shared by 1,000+ spaces now works.
🎥 Video Meetings Video meeting attendees using Safari will no longer experience one-sided audio issues (where some participants could hear others but not be heard themselves).
