Resources
Create a one-stop-shop for important resources and documentation in Roundtable.
Adding resources
- There’s a 5GB file size limit for an individual resource uploaded.
- Resources can be added to posts and comments.
- Resources can be uploaded directly to the Resource library via the “New resource” on the Resources tab.
- Resources uploaded directly to the library can have a title, description, and tags to enable organization and easier retrieval.
- Security restrictions prevent the upload of .exe and .svg files.
Viewing resources
- Resources attached to posts and comments generate a thumbnail preview.
- Most resources can be viewed directly within Roundtable. You can view the resource by clicking on it when it’s attached to a post, attached to a comment, via a search result, or in the Resource library.
- You can download the resource to your device by pressing the “Download” button.
- You can copy a link to the resource to your clipboard by pressing the “Share” button.
Resource library
- The Resource library consolidates all resources in your space.
- Resources attached to posts are automatically added to the Resource library.
- Resources are default sorted by the “Modified” column. Click the column header to sort by that column.
- Resources can be filtered by tag, author, or organization of the uploading member. Clicking a tag in the resource table will apply that tag as a filter.
- You can download a resource to your device by clicking the download button.
- You can edit or delete Resources that you’ve added by clicking the “more options” menu of the resource and selecting “Edit” or “Delete”.
