"New post" email notifications include the post content

Quick search

Accessed via the top of your screen, you can now easily search for members, posts, resources, comments, and events across all your communities. Additional functionality includes:

Google-like live searching
Intelligently ranked results with information on why a search result is recommended, saving you valuable time from going down the wrong path
Click on a search result to access the information (e.g., post, member, resource, etc.)
Typo handling and fuzzy matching
View your past search results next time you click on the search bar

Updated navigation

Updated sitewide navigation and layout to make content easier to find and engage:

No more left navigation bar: “My communities”, “Member management”, and “My Profile” all moved to top navigation. Click on the nine-dot icon for additional menu options.
Community-level tabs – Feed, Members, Resource, Events – are pinned to the top for easier navigation.
New “About” tab, eliminates the community header taking up real-estate on every page.
Updated icons, narrower posts, and a white background improve visibility, navigation, and usability.

Draft posts

Save and queue up content that’s a work-in-progress or intended to be published at a later date.

Save your work-in-progress by clicking the down arrow next to the “Create post” button.

A confirmation message will appear helping you avoid losing your progress when creating a new post.

Access your drafts via the “My drafts” area that appears on the Feed tab when you have any drafts saved. Click on the three dot menu to edit and publish the post.

"New post" email notifications include the post content

“New post” notifications now include up to 500 characters of the post body. Members can now browse posts via their inbox and create a comment by replying directly to the email.

Enhancements

[📊 Analytics] Now tracking which members have viewed a resource. This "resource impression" data is currently available to Community Managers on request.
[📊 Analytics] Now tracking which members have downloaded a resource. This "resource download" data is currently available to Community Managers on request.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Community Managers of only 1 community don't have to select the community to which they want to add a new member.
[🔔 Notifications] Post and comment notifications are now sent on a 30 second delay, avoiding notifications for posts that are quickly deleted after being published.
[🔔 Notifications] Members are notified when they receive responses to polls they created.
[🤖 Performance] More resilient to IT firewall blocking.
[🤖 Performance] Visual improvements to "badge" ("chip") components.
[🤖 Performance] Text is higher resolution and looks crisper on larger monitors.
[🤖 Performance] Pressing the "enter" key on inputs with the "add" button now submits the value instead of the entire form.
[🤖 Performance] Loading the Feed and saving posts is now significantly faster.
[🤖 Performance] Adding new picklist values is now more intuitive.
[📰 Posts] Post notification subscribe/unsubscribe button is now in the (...) menu.
[📰 Posts] Automated “Welcome” posts are more condensed and are published weekly.
[📰 Posts] Comments now use the same thumbnail file preview as posts.
[📰 Posts] UX improvements to attachment thumbnails on posts.
[📇 Profiles] Member profiles display posts created by that member.
[📇 Profiles] "Location" is now a required field on member profiles.
[📇 Profiles] "About me" section of member tiles in the directory displays more lines and has text left-aligned.
[📇 Profiles] Member badges now appear in the same order everywhere they are displayed.
[📇 Profiles] Updated the display of member profile social media / phone / and email links.
[📇 Profiles] Phone numbers entered for 2FA on sign-up are not auto-filled into the display phone number profile field during onboarding.
[📚 Resources] Drag-and-drop to upload files/images/videos.
[📚 Resources] Microsoft .docx files can now be viewed directly in Roundtable.
[📚 Resources] Visual improvements to the preview modal for files that do not have a preview (e.g. .xlsx files).

Fixes

[📅 Events] Clicking "Back to Post" from an Event page now works as expected.
[📅 Events] Now able to remove an "event link" once added to an event.
[🏠 Homepage] Community profile image uploader now uploads square dimensions instead of rectangles.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Inviting new users no longer fails if the email case insensitively matches an existing invite.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Pressing "add new member" multiple times in quick succession no longer triggers multiple invites.
[💬 Messages] Now able to create new message threads on the first attempt.
[🔔 Notifications] Typos are now fixed in notifications settings hover text.
[📰 Posts] Deleting a poll option in the middle no longer deletes the last poll option.
[📰 Posts] PDFs can now be removed when editing a published post.
[📰 Posts] Editing comments now allows deleting previous attachments.
[📰 Posts] Welcome posts are no longer displayed as results in the feed when filtering by "Author" or "Author's organization".
[📰 Posts] Clicking an attachment in the new post creation modal no longer results in an error.
[📰 Posts] Member badges are no longer misaligned on comments.
[📰 Posts] Reactions modal no longer changes size.
[📇 Profiles] Top navigation member count no longer updates when member filters are applied.
[📇 Profiles] Organization picklist now allows re-creating organizations that were previously deleted.
[📇 Profiles] Clicking another member's profile no longer displays the last profile you viewed.
[📇 Profiles] When adding a "project" during onboarding, the "delete" button is no longer extra large on narrow screens.
[📚 Resources] Previews are no longer case sensitive (e.g. .png and .PNG both work).
[📚 Resources] Resources library is now default sorted by "modified date" instead of "uploaded date".
[📚 Resources] Video thumbnails on posts pass accessibility compliance.
[📚 Resources] Direct links to resources that are not on the first page of the resource library now open the resource preview modal.
[📚 Resources] Badges in the resources table now have appropriate spacing.
[📚 Resources] Closing the resource preview modal no longer briefly flashes "resource missing".
[📚 Resources] Now able to download images after viewing a preview.
