Email forwarding

Increase the information shared on Roundtable with email forwarding. Sending an email to the community email address (provided by Roundtable) willautomatically create a post in that community, and any replies to that email will automatically generate a comment on that post.

Polls

Add a poll to a post as a lightweight way to solicit feedback from the community. Members can view results (and associated respondents) without submitting a response, as well as edit their response after submitting.

To create a poll…

Create a new post
Select “Poll” in add to post

Add the “question” for the poll and associated “options”

(Optional) Choose whether users can create their own options when responding to the poll by checking the box “Allow users to write in custom responses”
(Optional) Choose whether user can select multiple options when responding to the poll by checking the box “Allow multiple responses per user”
Finish creating the post

Leave a Community

Members who no longer wish to participate in the Roundtable community can now leave the community without having to contact a Community Manager.

To leave a community…

Go to the Communities homepage
Click the (...) menu on the community that you wish to leave
Select “Leave community”

Set a default Community

For members who are in multiple communities, setting a “default” community will pin that community to the front of the list for easier access.

To set a default community…

Go to the Communities homepage
Click the (...) menu on the community that you wish to make a default
Select “Make default”

The default community will now appear at the front of the list of communities on the homepage. Only 1 community may be set as default at a time. To remove the community as a default, select “Unset default” from the same menu, or select a different community to be the new default.

Share videos via direct messaging

Video attachments can now be shared and viewed directly within the messaging system. The maximum file size is 25mb.

To share a video via messages…

Navigate to the message thread where you would like to share the video
Press the paperclip icon located in the message input field
Select the video from your computer that you would like to share

Additional filtering options

The Feed, Member directory, and Resources tabs now include an “Organization” filter.

The Member directory tab now includes a “Jurisdiction size” filter, allowing users to find members based on the size of the population that they serve.

Member “Badge” is displayed in Member management tab
More intuitive default sorting in the Member management tab
Member profiles are displayed in a tab-based layout
Text from direct messages is included in email notifications
Post body text formatting options include strikethrough, indent, and alignment
Comments field label is replaced with placeholder text
Improved scroll positioning when navigating through the application
URLs are simplified to not include “clerkOrganization”
Error page goes “home” instead of back to the previous page
Events tab empty state updated with more user-friendly text
Loading pages show skeleton loading states
Auto-expand comments when navigating directly to a post
Typing “:” prompts emoji picker in post & comment inputs
Two-factor authenticated phone numbers are not displayed on member profiles
“Account created” modal is replaced with a toast confirmation notification
Increased inactivity and session timeouts so users are logged in for longer
Resume account onboarding if stopped partway through
(Accessibility) Use just the keyboard to create posts and comments
