Roundtable video meetings

Roundtable’s built-in video meetings make it easy to connect and collaborate in real time.

Whether you're hosting training, workshops, committee meetings, webinars, office hours, or Q&As, Roundtable video meetings keeps everything in one place. Members can create video meetings when creating events in Roundtable – when adding an event, simply press “Add Roundtable video meeting” and a meeting link will be created that can be joined by your members. Roundtable video meetings offer a variety of features, including:

🎥 Video Recordings – Meeting hosts can record sessions for future reference.
🔐 Flexible Access Controls – Manage who can join each session with customizable visibility settings.
🌅 Virtual Backgrounds – Blur your background or select from a selection of preset images.
🖥️ Screen Sharing – Share your entire screen, a specific application, or a browser tab.
📄 Live PDF Annotations – Share and collaboratively annotate PDFs in real time.
🎉 Emoji Reactions – Express feedback instantly with emoji reactions.
🙋 Raise Hand – Signal when you want to speak without disrupting the conversation.
💬 Live Chat – Exchange messages with participants in real time.
⁉️ Polls & Quizzes – Quickly gather opinions, feedback, and insights from participants.

Announcements

Announcements are designed to deliver temporary, time-sensitive updates that stand out to your members.

Space Managers can now create announcements visible at the top of members’ screen via the new "Admin" tab or the "New" button on the feed. Common use cases include deadlines, emergency alerts, and important reminders.

Managers can decide whether their announcement should trigger email and / or SMS notifications. Announcement notification preferences are set by members, with the default being “on” for emails and “off” for SMS. Announcements can be shared instantly or scheduled for a future date, and can be edited to expire at any time. Additionally, members have the ability to dismiss announcements from their view.

Admin experience

We've redesigned the admin configuration experience with a more intuitive, comprehensive, and easy-to-navigate layout.

Under the Admin tab within a space, you will find your space configuration settings including name, description, logos, security settings, etc. Additional enhancements include:

Member management is now accessible directly within the space.
The invite link, located in the General tab, now uses easier-to-read URLs.
A new Integrations tab displaying your space’s unique email forwarding address. Emails sent to this address will create a new post.
Also under the Integrations tab, “Connected websites” lists any websites that have been linked to your space’s search. Please reach out to Roundtable support if you’re interested in adding connected websites to your space, allowing members to search the content of external websites directly from within Roundtable.

Enhancements

Improvements to the platform that make it more powerful and easier-to-use.

[📅 Events] Events with physical locations now link out to Google maps.
[📅 Events] Event end dates are now required and auto-fill based on the start date.
[📅 Events] Better handling of links that are entered as an event location.
[📅 Events] Easier to add and update event locations and meeting links.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] "Request to join Space" pages are now more user-friendly.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Space invite links are now displayed in a modal for better clarity and visibility.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Managers can now remove members from multiple spaces at once.
[🧭 Navigation] Long filter values now truncate instead of being cut off in the dropdown.
[🧭 Navigation] More consistent and user-friendly empty states.
[🧭 Navigation] The space logo is now visible in the space dropdown in the new message modal, invite member modal, and new post cross-post selector.
[🧭 Navigation] "Community" is now replaced with "Spaces".
[🧭 Navigation] Invite links and inbound email addresses now use easier-to-read URLs.
[🧭 Navigation] Security Trust Center is now live, allowing individuals to access the Roundtable security whitepaper, browse audit controls, and request to see SOC or Penetration Test reports.
[🤖 Performance] Account creation page now loads much faster after verifying your email.
[🤖 Performance] Organization logos, space cover photos, and member background photos all upload and save faster now.
[📇 Profiles] The member directory can now be filtered by member location.
[📇 Profiles] Automatically navigate to the organization profile upon creation.
[📇 Profiles] Phone number in account settings no longer references 2FA since it's now also used for SMS notifications.

Fixes

Addressed issues to improve the product experience.

[📅 Events] Editing events within posts no longer creates a duplicate event.
[📅 Events] Members from Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan can now access the events list.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Members signing up via a peer invite once again notify Managers that a new member is pending their approval.
[🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Member mgmt] Managers can no longer approve membership requests that have already been approved.
[🧭 Navigation] Filtering members by “Positions” containing special characters now functions correctly.
[🧭 Navigation] Tooltips on icon buttons are now properly positioned.
[✍️ Onboarding] Error is no longer shown when an invited member signs up via an invite link.
[📰 Posts] Cross-posting once again copies polls.
[📰 Posts] New post body text is no longer removed when embedding an image.
[📚 Resources] Collections can be reordered without causing errors.
